How do I book my road test?
Log on to www.drivetest.ca, fill in the required information and book your road test for the next available date at a DriveTest centre near you.
How soon can I go for my G2 road test?
If you take the ministry approved course at Boss Driver’s Academy, you will be eligible for your G2 road test 8 months after the issue date of your G1. Otherwise, you must wait a minimum of one year. Earning your Beginner Driver Education certificate will speed up your waiting period by 4 months.
Can I start the course without my G1?
Yes, you can start the online course without your G1, and begin the in-car training once you get it. Please note that the Ministry of Transportation requires that courses be completed within one year in order to be eligible for certification. You should give yourself enough time to obtain the G1 and make sure to complete the 10 hours of in-car training.
How long can I wait before I have to start my driving lessons?
You are able to start your in-car training after you obtain your G1 licence. It’s up to the students when they feel ready to start the course. The Ministry of Transportation only gives you one year to complete the full course (online and in-car) in order to be eligible for certification.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, there are flexible instalment plans available for all the students. The full balance must be paid prior to beginning the in-car training. There is an option to pay for half of the course when starting the online course and the other half when the in-car lessons begin.
